A month ago we were playing at the park and had a terrible accident that left Desmond crawling and limping for nearly four weeks. While playing on the slide, his foot got caught between my leg and the side of the slide, and as we were going down his ankle twisted. (Moms, take heed -- this could happen to anyone!) We never did find out for sure if he'd fractured anything; two x-rays revealed only a "possible" fracture.
For the first couple weeks the poor guy wouldn't walk on it at all. Then we got to this point -- standing. (Disregard my terrible commentary in this video. He is referring to the correct foot. Haha!)
And then we finally got to the point of this second video -- walking with a limp.
But as of this week Desmond is back on his feet, and he's happier than ever! (And so are Mom and Dad.)

Wow, I didn't realize only a "possible" fracture could make him barely walk or walk so funny for so long. I would have guessed he was just limping a little the whole time! Poor lil' guy! Glad he's back in action!
